What skills do I need?

tokay from tokay village -

I have been taking care of my pets for a while. I was interested in working for a vet or for the local shelter but I am not sure of the best way to "sell" myself. I haven't had any professional training or experience other than my own pets.

You must go to a veterinarian school. This is a very good career choice. You do not need anything more than a love of animals to begin at a vet school. A good college will also help you with finding you a job. Good luck!

You will need to have a passion for pets and be ready for anything that comes along your way to being a veterinanian. I had a few friends of mine who chose to study veterinary medicine but along the way, they backed out sighting it being a difficult course..of course you do not except anthing dealing with animal anatomy to be any easier in comparison to studying human anatomy. Only you can sell yourself off..it is only that we only need to walk miles in your shoes to understand why you are afraid to speak out about what you love. Good luck nonetheless.
