My son is interested in going into veterinary medicine. Does anyone know how you go about getting an internship with a veterinarian? I would like him to work at a vets and see what it's really like before I dump all that money into college education to find out he doesn't like the hands on aspects of it later.

I would definitely have your son volunteer at a veterinary clinic to see how he likes it and that way he will get an idea about what goes on in the day of the life of a vet.

hello my name is Stephanie im seventeen years old and i attend Sture Larsson High in stockton CA, for as long as i can remember i have loved animals but my true passion is for dogs and horses i would like to persue a career working with these animals and currently im looking for an internship. for about ten years now ive been voulenteering for many non profit organizations such as Valley SPCA and Animal Friends Connection i also have worked with abused and "problem" dogs/horses. if you could give me any info on where i could find a place willing to giv me a chance please let me know i would really appreciate your help. thank you
