'Veterinary Internship Possibilities'

My son is interested in going into veterinary medicine. Does anyone know how you go about getting an internship with a veterinarian? I would like him to work at a vets and see what it's really like before I dump all that money into college education to find out he doesn't like the hands on aspects of it later.

I am a veterinary graduate from sokoine university of agriculture faculty of Veterinary morogoro tanzania After taking the degree in 2007, straight away I had joined as an Asst. Manager in mbeya Livestock Board, in charge of a field "progeny testing unit" .In the year 1996, and joined the Animal Husbandry Department, Govt. of tanzania as a veterinary surgeon and continuing in the same till date.I had enough exposure to treatment of large & small animal and husbandry activities, including implementation of both state & central govt. schemes.Now I am in search of a more challenging job in any country
