'my hamsters'

i hav a russian dwarf hammy and when i first got her she bit me too. They may be going through matureaty. myne did and after a couple of weeks it got better. a couple tricks is

1: get an old toothbrush and stick that in their cage befor u reach in (it will keep them occupied win u reach in) so they will bite that instead of your fingers

2:pick them up slowly (with gloves if u really hav 2 but that makes them get even more scared of u when u tak the gloves off) and by their butt so they dont bite u.

3:if the picking up does not help, then lay ur hand down and let them crawl onto it, but put a pice of food or a treat in ur hand to let them join you and food then they will act nicer

4:every time you feed him / her pick him / her up and that will also conjoin u and food

5:lastly, when you hold them and they do not nip or bite, reward them with lots of cuddleing an a piece of lettuce about the size of a dime(just hand feed it to them)
