'dwarf hamster pregnancy'

my sister and i just got our first dwarf hamsters both were suposed to be both boys but it turned out myne is a girl and now we are pretty sure shes pregnant !!help!! i have no idea what to do for her or how to she if she is pregnant please help!

i have two hamsters that i got from my friend she said they were both girls and they were family so they wouldnt have babies anyways.So i took her word, of course why would i be writing this if something didnt go wrong?I am doing reasearch and i am allmost positive my hamsters pregnet!she shows all of the signs and her nipples are sticking out.and she is getinng a little nippy!I need help and dont no what to do!! please help

add a tiny bit of our milk to her diet every now and again. give her extra beddin because she will want to build a nest. doot remove the male because with th dwarf hamstes the male gives a helping hand to look after the babies. but do be careful because hamers can get pregnant again just 24hours after giving birth. they usually have around 4 babies butwith first litter can have less ad occasonally up to 6. you should try and home them around 6 weeks old as they will start breeding with eachother if the are not seperated into single sex groups shortly after this age. aww your so lucky, i wanted my hamsters to breed ut prestons to old so i purchased 2 more not long ago, was told one was a boy and one was a girl turns out both ollie and peewee are boys.but i still love them both loads. oh also try not to disturb the nest too much afte the babies are born because the mom may turn and kill the babies in a plee to protect them.

If your hamster is pregnant, contact a local hamster breeder. He will know what to do.

Hi i think my hamster is pregnant what should i do. my hamster is berrying her food and she never buried her food before. she is alot more active then usual. WHAT SHOULD I DO HELP!!!!!!!!

i have had a russian dwarf hamster and if you dont know she is pregant just wait 15 days then you will found out make sure you dont touch her litter for a least 3 weeks or she might eat them if you do touch them. good luck!also make sure to seprate them male away fom the female and also separte the male and female babys after about a month or they will have babies.

If you go to Dwarfhamsters.com you can get lotes of information on what to do when they are born so check it out they could be here any day now just to tell you dont touch them for 14 days or the mom will eat them also dont leave the male in he could eat them...

when i got my three dwarf hamsters last october i got told they were all girls.

One got out and left about 1 month ago.

Earlier i feed my two others and i just noticed my smaller one has just laid out food and buried it ?

Ok i have a dwarf hamster it is a boy .My sister got a girl dwarf hamster and my boy is older than hers.but they got in the same cage and we don't know if they mated. but we put her in a different cage . we tried to put them in again, but he is always chasing her and she is only a baby. we don't want them in the same cage because he is constantly chasing her and being aggresive.Please help, you can help by telling me signs that a dwarf hamster is pregnant. thanks. :)

I believe my hamster is prego!! she is only 2 months old. I believe the sibling brother is the father, will this affect the hamster any?

All of you who think your hamster is pregnant, listen to this... I've mated hamsters before and right now, I have a pregnant hamster; she is due any day! The signs you will see is a nest, she takes lots of food and buries it in the shavings or whatever you use as nesting. She also gets very fat in about 2 days. (I mean, very fat) Yes, her nipples do stick out a little. You also MIGHT see her sleeping in a weird postion or away from the male, this is normal, don't get worried! Her hormones are just acting up and this goes on during the whole pregnancy. Pregnancies of hamsters vary, mine are Russian Dwarf Hamsters and their gestation period is about 18-21 days. (gestation period is the time the get pregnant till the time the have there babies) The link I gave you is for Russian Dwarf Hamsters, so if your hamster is not a Russian... please do not follow those directions, it might effect your hamsters' pregnancy. I hope this information helped.
