'aggressive hamster!!!'

my hamster pepper, is a fancy russian dwarf hamster. we got him last thursday. we dont know if its a boy or girl yet and its about 4.5 weeks old. every time i pick it up and hold it its fine. about 5 mins in it starts to nibble on your knuckles. its like a bite but it dosent bite hard enough to draw blood. at first i thought it just was confusing me for food so i put him back washed my hands to get any food smell off and picked him up again... it didnt bit again. the next day my friend held him and he nibbled her and then bit me, drawing blood, on my knuckle. the past few days hes nibbled my sister mom friend and me multiple times.every time you pick him up its fine and then he nibbles. its only drawn blood 1 time but i think its getting worse. please please help me!!

also how old does it have to be to identify the sex?

Before he starts to nibble, feed him something in your hand, like a hamster treat or a fruit/vegetable so he doesn't nibble. If he starts to nibble before you can give him food, just put him back in his cage.

To tell sex, look at pictures online. Dont really wnat to explain. XP

but HOW OLD does it have to be to determine the gender?

Once there about a year old you should definatly be able to tell, but you can probably tell when there younger also.

i figured out its a she...thx...i am now using a glove got too knawed up... :(
