So, I am looking for a new member to add to our family. You see my boyfriend has gone pet crazy, :), and has gotten himself a red eared slider, a vietnamese centipede, and a pacman frog.. so as you see i'm kinda left out in the open as he gets to care for all his animals.. so i was just wondering if you could give me any advice on what kind of animal i can get in order to fill my need for affection! And as much as i want a cat, we have a bulldog who seems to hate all other animals that he can physically touch, so preferably a caged animal. so if you have any ideas taht can help me, PLEASE let me know :)

You should get a russian dwarf hamster. They are so cute and very nice.they love to be held and you should defantaly try them.I have one and that is her-->

she has only bit me once in the 3 months i have had her.The one thing that is bad about them is they only live for about 1-3 years. (if you get a good one!) hope my advice helps

And abot your dog, leave the hamster in a seprate room up high with the door closed.Ihave a golden retriever and a choclote lab and they have never gotten into my hamster room

MC is the smartest advice giver ever so I would listen to her also my advice is exactly what MC said to do I would leave your hamster in a seperate room if you do that you should have no problems like me too I have a dog its not big its a pekenesse named Simba he leaves them alone and dosent bother them only if there in the cage but they are very low on a table hope I helped and MC your the best email me soon...:)
