How old is she mam? Sometimes (not always) when they reach sexual maturity they get downrite mean and stay like that for awhile. Thats what happened to one of my little cousin's hampsters. Or it mite be that something happened to scare her while you was holding her or she associated something that scared her with you (vet, or she jumped or fell off your hand when you was playing with her, etc) or maybe she's just mad and holding a grudge. Just handle her very gently and she should be alrite.
