I have a hamster that keeps getting out of its cage by chewing through the side. so i really dont what to do.

What kind of cage do you have it in? Is it one made especially for hamsters? Hamsters chew. That's what they do. If you have it in a cage it can chew through, then you must have it in the wrong cage. Bizzy used to pop the top of her cage all the time so we'd tape it down.

If I were you I would go to your local wal mart or pet store and get a glass cage, or take an old glass fish tank and use it, put the bedding and things all in it, and than it wont be able to chew its way out.
