'Do you take your pet to the store with you?'

My siblings will take their dogs to Petsmart or Petco but that's it. They won't go to the grocery store or the mall or anything like that. Our neighbor takes her little chihauhau every place she goes. She's kind of an elderly woman and just doesn't want to part with her "little one".

In Costa Rica, we like to go to restaurants and it is usually not a problem.

Small dogs i can see taking out. Still it drives me nuts when i see small dogs used as fashion accessories. I think its a trend now having a small dog dressed up lol.

I live about an hour away from a Petsmart or a Petco but when we lived closer a few years ago we would take the dogs in. We would let them pick out a toy and treats. They seemed to like it. They love to ride in the car so it was never a problem getting them to go. We obviously don't take them anymore. There isn't anything close enough to take them too.

I hate when people buy all those accessories for their pets as "fashion statements". I can't believe all the stuff they have out there for them. I saw a woman and her little dog who had matching sweaters on!!

I think taking your dog places with you is a good thing.. As long as your just taking it for a ride to get out you know.. Just not all the time.. Every once in a while i take my dog just he can get some air and stuff.. My girlfriend buys him clothes and boots and coats and all that stupid stuff.. i never get the point in that.
