'Do you have professional pictures done with your pet?'

My sister does this every year with her family and includes her Labrador. I think it's a cute idea. She has the kids pose with her separately too. They send it out every year as a Christmas card.

We had professional pictures done of just Sadie, the older dog. We had them done before we got Shadow. We took her to a store where they were doing the pictures outside. I friend of mine had them taken and thought it was a great idea. Sadie was our "first child" afterall. We took her up and had them taken and they set up a few different backgrounds. I even got coffee mug with her picture on it. People would laugh at me, who are not dog lovers, that I would spend the money on taking my dog to get her pictures taken. I usually take the Christmas card picture. I would like to get my daughter and the dogs together for the card but things don't always go as planned :)

i think it is a great idea to get professional pics with your pets.. you love them right? you like the memories right? so why not..

With the low price and high quality of digital cameras these days.. who one earth would pay for a "professional" photog for their pets!?!?!?
