My brother is thirteen years old and loves watching the animal rescue shows on animal planet. I can't watch them, they are so sad. I can't stand seeing the animals in harm, it makes me want to cry.

I cannot watch this show either. It just breaks my heart. I can't believe how inhumane some people are when it comes to animals.

I am with both of you I can't watch that show either. It is so sad the way some animals are treated. If you are not going to treat your pet like a part of your family then give it to a family that will. That is just my opinion. I can't believe some conditions that some of those animals are in. Just thinking about it makes me so angry at the owners of these pets.

I watched the Adoption of Tonka - the disabled dog and missed the last five minutes.

WHO ADOPTED TONKA ? Was it the disabled woman, the man with the 5 year old or the man that had the blind dog ?

I love that channel but I haven't watched that animal rescure show that you guys are talking about. What times does it airs? I just love animals and knowing more information about them. Maybe I was an animals on my past life do you think?

Patty, Tonka went to no one! The lady who fostered him decided to adopt him. ^-^

And although the show is sad, I watch it all the time. I love to see the happy endings.
