"Some diseases"
Of course, pet rocks have a very bad immune system because, well, they're rocks. They get sick quite alot but the diseases are easy to treat.Rock Pox is a disease where small patches of greeny browny "moss" is formed on the rock, causing infections. This can be prevented by washing your rock daily to remove any tiny moss bits that can grow. It can be treated using the same technique. Once you have done this, put your rock to bed and let him or her rest for a few days. Sometimes, your rock can chip. If this happens, you can't treat it or prevent it so you will have to put in an artificial bit. Get air drying clay and put it into the crack that has been chipped off. Leave your rock overnight and the clay will be dry and READY FOR ACTION! Feeding your rock mountain dew or leaves will give it a temporary case of the "Miffles". The miffles is when your rock will begin to go crazy and hyper, and it could injure itself. To keep it from doing so, gently restrain your rock onto a pillow until it calms down. This can take from 30 seconds to an hour, so make sure youre in a comfortable position. Hope this helps! ~Grace • Page 1 (Original Post) •
