I love animals, and have always dreamed of having an arctic fox. I know how to raise foxes, and have done research on their habits and behaviors. Please help me fulfill my dream. Thanx, Comment #1 chelsea (64.83.186.194) - I have an arctic fox kit....the cutest thing I have ever laid eyes on. Unfortunatly I bought him without doing any research. I love him so much and want him to go to a good home, but I just bought him for 250 dollars yesterday and cannot give him away but I would like to sell him. I feel so bad I am not able to give him the life he diserves. TAME. She is house trained and crate trained. Walks on a leash and goes out in public all the time with me. She is also crate trained though I let her sleep with me every night she sleeps around my head. Please e-mail me your offer on her im not totally sure I want to sell her. I live in Illinois. My e-mail is twocute4u19@yahoo.com Comment #8 Dev (207.230.144.240) - I am VERY interested in an Arctic Fox.... Price Negotiable Comment #9 Andy Jorgensen (24.127.228.121) - Hey, I've been doing a lot of research for the last 2 months on fox's. I will be moving to a house with a huge back yard in the next month. In addition to a new house I figured I would get a new pet. If anyone can direct me to a place that will sell fox's I would be very grateful. I live in Florida so I don't know what fox's will or will not adapt (IE. arctic fox). If anyone has a good source for fox's please email me. Much thanks. -Andy Jorgensen AndyJorgen@hotmail.com Comment #10 Dev (207.230.140.240) - Daysha is a fraud - She told me her fox was sold to me - Planned on picking her up this weekend (After a LONG time of run around) She has ignored EVERY e-mail - Phone call - EVERYTHING.... She has many other ads up as well - Both for the fox on maybe 6-7 different sites and for her other pets - DO NOT BUY FROM HER! - Contact me directly with any questions. Comment #11 Hybredwaters from Canada (Contact Member) - i saw her on pumba, and thought about emailing her about it.. But i didnt want an adult fox.. more on the baby's edge. I've found a breeder, but i'm always looking for more.. just in case i trust one more Comment #12 Dev (69.87.156.246) - I don't know what breeder you found but typically they only get kits in the spring - And if they have them in the winter they DOUBLE $$$ on them - But don't contact Daysha - I have an e-mail from her on us setting up day and time for me to pick her up (After an ENTIRE month of her going on and off about maybe not wanting to sell her now) And no return calls or anything.... Daysha is WORTHLESS Comment #13 MICHAEL POGGI (66.176.206.239) - I AM LOOKING FOR AN ARTIC FOX KIT, OR A SILVER FOX KIT. Thanx again. Comment #18 Jody C from Ohio (Contact Member) - I don't want to discourage you guys from getting a fox but I want you to know what you are getting into. I have raised foxes for years. First of all, you can't keep them in your back yard without a large kennel made of very sturdy fence with a top and a floor or buried fence. They are not like dogs. They can climb a six foot fence in the blink of an eye. And they can dig under a fence too. They are little escape artists. If they get out they may or may not come back. You have to have proper permits to keep them. Check with your local game warden. If they get out and cause trouble you are liable. Also, they smell like skunks. The idea of keeping one in your house is great until you get a whiff of their urine! I've done it but don't recommend it. They tend to be nippy too. If you get one that thinks it's fun to nip you lokk out. They can get you six times before you realize they got you once! That is why even though some love kids, I would never recommend them as childrens' pets. They are wild animals. Not like cats or dogs. If they are frightened they will revert to their natural instinctive behavior. They will urinate and/or defecate when nervous or scared. They can be very loving, playful, and sweet but you need to make an informed choice. If you still want one, go into it knowing all the good and bad. By the way, don't forget they are predators. Some of them will chase and kill any animal that they consider prey (including cats, pocket pets such as hamsters, and the like). So be careful if you get one. Although they aren't all like that, if you get one that is you can't break it from that. Comment #19 Mikey from The Toilet in the Great Beyond (Contact Member) - Howdy!
