free arctic fox kit

Fluffy fox luver (216.228.37.143) -

I am looking for a free arctic fox kit. I love animals, and have always dreamed of having an arctic fox. I know how to raise foxes, and have done research on their habits and behaviors. Please help me fulfill my dream. Thanx,

Fluffy Fox Luver

I have an arctic fox kit....the cutest thing I have ever laid eyes on. Unfortunatly I bought him without doing any research. I love him so much and want him to go to a good home, but I just bought him for 250 dollars yesterday and cannot give him away but I would like to sell him. I feel so bad I am not able to give him the life he diserves.

Comment #9 Andy Jorgensen (24.127.228.121) -

Hey, I've been doing a lot of research for the last 2 months on fox's. I will be moving to a house with a huge back yard in the next month. In addition to a new house I figured I would get a new pet. If anyone can direct me to a place that will sell fox's I would be very grateful. I live in Florida so I don't know what fox's will or will not adapt (IE. arctic fox). If anyone has a good source for fox's please email me. Much thanks. -Andy Jorgensen AndyJorgen@hotmail.com

Daysha is a fraud - She told me her fox was sold to me - Planned on picking her up this weekend (After a LONG time of run around) She has ignored EVERY e-mail - Phone call - EVERYTHING.... She has many other ads up as well - Both for the fox on maybe 6-7 different sites and for her other pets - DO NOT BUY FROM HER! - Contact me directly with any questions.

Comment #11 Hybredwaters from Canada -

i saw her on pumba, and thought about emailing her about it.. But i didnt want an adult fox.. more on the baby's edge. I've found a breeder, but i'm always looking for more.. just in case i trust one more

I don't know what breeder you found but typically they only get kits in the spring - And if they have them in the winter they DOUBLE $$$ on them - But don't contact Daysha - I have an e-mail from her on us setting up day and time for me to pick her up (After an ENTIRE month of her going on and off about maybe not wanting to sell her now) And no return calls or anything.... Daysha is WORTHLESS

I don't want to discourage you guys from getting a fox but I want you to know what you are getting into. I have raised foxes for years. First of all, you can't keep them in your back yard without a large kennel made of very sturdy fence with a top and a floor or buried fence. They are not like dogs. They can climb a six foot fence in the blink of an eye. And they can dig under a fence too. They are little escape artists. If they get out they may or may not come back. You have to have proper permits to keep them. Check with your local game warden. If they get out and cause trouble you are liable. Also, they smell like skunks. The idea of keeping one in your house is great until you get a whiff of their urine! I've done it but don't recommend it. They tend to be nippy too. If you get one that thinks it's fun to nip you lokk out. They can get you six times before you realize they got you once! That is why even though some love kids, I would never recommend them as childrens' pets. They are wild animals. Not like cats or dogs. If they are frightened they will revert to their natural instinctive behavior. They will urinate and/or defecate when nervous or scared. They can be very loving, playful, and sweet but you need to make an informed choice. If you still want one, go into it knowing all the good and bad. By the way, don't forget they are predators. Some of them will chase and kill any animal that they consider prey (including cats, pocket pets such as hamsters, and the like). So be careful if you get one. Although they aren't all like that, if you get one that is you can't break it from that.

Hi!

I am 12 years old and looking for a red fox kit. I may just look around the forest and see if I can find a baby fox wandering around, but I doubt that will happen. If I could, I would love a very TAME and FRIENDLY fox, a housetrained adult would be fine! But, I don't have a lot of money so... Yeah.

Angie

Hi! I'm looking for a arctic, fennec, or any other reputable fox kit breeder. I have been wanting one for years but after reading about them i noticed i didn't have a good enough habitat to keep a fox happy. Now i have the land, space, and time to take care of one. I'm not above paying for one at a decent price. Please send me an email if you have any information.

Thanks

Comment #27 Wayde Forster from New York - Wed Apr 30 22:52:55 2008

Jody C is the only one of you who knows what she is talking about-I have 16 foxes, most o them came from idiots who thought they were 'cute ' pets. They are WILD animals you morons, and are not good pets. I don't know shat 'research' you have done, but you aren't ready. It will end badly for the animal, and I end up with your rejects. Get a dog.

Comment #28 Cristina Turner (205.188.116.206) - Thu May 8 00:52:56 2008

Wade Forster took almost all the words out of my mouth. Foxes are wild animals - not pets for the purpose of fulfilling your dreams of a "cute" fix! Those of you looking to buy a fox kit should wonder why people are selling them after only a few months of "owning" them! They are not pets! If you want to adopt an animal there are thousands of dogs and cats needing a good home. They are pets!

By the way, you might want to check the laws in your state about being in possession of wild animals. It's illegal in many states and if you are caught you will be fined and the animal will be euthanized.

Hello..

As like everyone else..I'm looking for a fox. I prefer a marble but anything will be fine. I'm not exactly worried about the one who is sending my email to whoever. Once they "investigate" me as they so claim will happen...They will find I have a complete enclosure and have been running a small wild animal rescue. I have had experience working with wild animals and would love having a fox around. Of course the fox in question would have it's own enclosure complete with my Michigan permit to own one.

If anyone lives near the Grand Rapids area you can get a hole of me at kaylatune@yahoo.com

I don't own a computer and this is a relatives email, but everything will be directed to me.

Thanks.
