we just recently found a 3-4 week old baby raccoon. his mom was found dead on the side of the road and he has been screaming for about 3 days now. we finally decided to take him home and hand feed him. HE IS NOT A PET. this will be our 2nd raccoon to raise. for the first 2 nights he was crying his little head off but now he is sleeping. im a little worried because our last one would sleep a little, wake up, eat, potty , and then go back to sleep. this little guy has been sleeping since 12:30AM and its now 1:25AM. i tried to wake him but he just screams and then goes back to sleep, and i know he really needs to eat. any help?

Hi, my mom and i found 3 baby raccoons in a hollowed out base of a tree in our back yard. Their mother was hit by a car, and i have called multiple wildlife rescue facilities, none will take them, (they already have to many) I am NOT a breeder, i just rescued them. I am looking for a good, safe home for them, they are too domestic to be released into the wild. Please e-mail me at haley_swaggle@ymail.com

I've had pet coons before and have raised them. If anyone needs some assistance with any babies found, contact me and I'll try and help. E-mail: jimg@nuvox.net

I can also possibly take some of them and raise them & work with them. I feed coons in my yard every night so I could release them when they get older and they could still have food if needed.

I had a mother coon that was coming everyday and would eat up on my deck. She'd spend the day up there so she was quite tame. She got hit on the road and I wasn't able to find here babies to save them.

I need a racoon to help ease the pain of losing my Isabella she was about 5 years old and she raised 2 sets of babies in my home and yard. then a jackass moved in down the street and sicked his pitbull on my Issy. she died, her babies moved on and thank god the moved to jail for cooking crank! but there is a big hole in mine and my wifes heart. someone please help fill it there are no preditors to deal with here and a racoon could live in the house full time if she/he wanted too. we have had the pleasure of living with and playing with racoons and i have to say they have been great times help us find a new baby

Looking for baby raccoon for sale or for free. i had two (lulu and moe) about a year ago and they went off into the wild. i now miss their company and am looking for a baby raccoon

My son has a five month old racoon needing adoption. It has been raised with children and other pets. He saved it from being killed by some children. He is afraid it will not survive if released into the woods. We live on the South Shore of Long Island.
