my iguana always makes his way to my plants, is there anyway to make him stop eating them?

You wanna trade for my cactus eating Cat?

Comment #2 snakelover from ask me -

Are you feeding him the right diet? Iguanas are plant eaters and it could be that he is still hungry. Try adding to his diet and see if that works.

Location, , Southern Florida ...From our condo we are viewing a 4 ft green iguana that has climbed 40 ft up a tree to the top and is hugging a dead limb. Has been there four days, , hasn't moved an inch. What's going on here? I took a picture and would be willing to share it to anyone interested.

Hi folks,

My situation with iguanas is a bit different. I live in South Florida and we have an abundance of iguanas in the wild. They are not native to So Fl and are causing a major environmental problem.

My problem is that I have about 6 living in and around my back yard. One is very big (will try to send a picture) and many of my plants are being eaten by them.

I believe in live and let live but how do I stop them from destroying my garden? Please, please help...

Thanks

Gloria

Gloria , about the only ways your going to stop them is to either capture them and relocate them (to some one else's garden), Get a dog that will drive them off, kill them, or capture and have some new pets.
