| Yahoo! Answers: Are Praying Mantis' really good luck or an endangered species? I have been seeing a lot around work, and I, and some friends have been getting between 1 and 3 a day for me to feed to my Iguana when I get home, cuz she loves them! |

| For some this kind of insects are for good luck. Well, maybe because of their beliefs and religion but I have to say that they are just insects. I have nothing against those beliefs but for me praying mantis are just insects and there are no lucks accompanied in them. For me, luck is luck but yet we have to also work for it. There is nothing more rewarding than to work hard for anything that we want to accomplish. |
| Iguanas are also one of the famous pets in the world. These big kinds of lizards are nice to pet. They are just cute. I have one and according to my own experience, it is quite difficult to feed and provide a home for it. That's why if you decide to pet an iguana you have to be patient enough and just enjoy the moment with your pert. Great day. |
| not only iguanas are in dire hope to be fed with praying mantis but their cousins the gecko and the lizards in general. they are fond of insects. they are labeled carnivores because they loved to gobble these creatures.personally i am trying to get a pet from the reptile world because i developed a fear for them as a child. the doctors said i should have one of them to overcome the fear. |

| Well, I believe neither really. I do not believe that talismans are worth any more than a nice keepsake, and though many may profess to believe in them, I believe most are just doing it as a superstitious joke. As far as being an endangered species they most definitely are not as a whole, though perhaps some particular kinds are endangered. If they are really endangered, I invite praying mantis enthusiasts to my garden where they will find plenty to replenish the world population. |
