My horse's knees look enlarged and very boney. He seems happy enough, not in pain, eats very well. Plays and does not stand funny. I have pictures I can send. He is a 22 year old TWalker gelding and has never had any health trouble with one exception of a pulled front right tendon which healed very very well. We rode very well last weekend on the trail on our back pasture Saturday and Sunday afternoons. He seemed to be feeling fine and still does. He seems to walk slower but then he will run and play before I feed him. Any ideas? I will contact my vet but I would like any opinions you may have out there! He is from a good home and was never mistreated. He showed some and won some blue ribbons. My husband bought him for me 2 years ago. I fell in love with him at a friends farm who had him for sale 10 years ago and I could not afford him then but rode him there and it was love at first sight. He is an excellent, spoiled, loving, and still very spirited horse. Would love some feedback. I think it may be arthritis as it has been very cold here though in the freezing weather I stabled him.
