Yes horses need attention!!!! They get lonley just like any other animal or person. You have to take care of a horse too. They need to be fet and given fresh water every day. Horses need grooming, like brushing and they need their hooves cleaned out and trimmed. A horse can be your best friend if you let them. You can talk to a horse and ride them, also just being with a horse and peting them is attention they need. I have two horses and they both love to be petted and talked to. If you only have one horse it would need even more attention from you because it would be alone. No offence to your mom but she does not know horses and you are right. Every animal needs attention.
