My 11 month old filly is bowing out in the front, right around her left front ankle, when she walks it looks as though she clicks it back into place. This has just shown up in the past three weeks. I purchased her at 5 months old and there was no sign of this at all. I have 5 other filly's from the same father and there are no apparent problems as of yet with them. She does not limp at all. She walks a little on the front of her hoof. "Toed down" if that makes any sense. Please tell me if this sounds familiar or if there is something i should do. Thank You, Kathy

it could be from the dam if not from the sire...? in this case it may be best to consult a vet. but if it doesnt seem to be too much of a problem and hurt her i would wait a week or so and see if the problem fixes itself. good luck to both of you
