How come my fish stay at the top of the bowl? It looks like they're sucking air. Are they lokking for food? I've fed them once today. Help...........

it bc they lack o2 in the water. try to get a airstone but really they sghould be in a real tank with flilter

They know where the food source comes from and that is why they stay there. If you feed them more often, (smaller amounts, through out the day) they will most likely then swim down.

i need help i am 13 my fish i have 6 one of the babies is always at the top of the tank i have plenty of oxyogen in there fir the five other fish and he tries to go down and floats back up he is alive and swims around the top and can't get down, what do i do????

u have a brad new gold fish that i won at a fair. it has parts of its fins cut off. it stays at the bottom of my fish bowl. the bowl is quit small though and i use regular cold tap water. there is nothing in the tank, just my gold fish and water. what am i doing wrong???? please help me!!! =(
