Is there an easy way to set up a basic small (50 - 75 Gallon) salt water tank. My son has had fish for a long time and he has always admired the bright colors of the saltwater fish and wanted his own. But I don't know anything about setting up or running a salt water tank. What are some of the do's and don'ts and what are the basic needs and rough cost to get started? I tried the fish store, but they just wanted to sell me the whole enchilada, so to speak, and I'm on a budget.

ok invest in three things a 55gal w/ overflows a proteinskimmer and a wet/dry thats it in a nut shell if u have any questions email me at send me a message ill be able to help

What I've stumbled are artificial salt mixes which is marine-life friendly where you can go take care any salt water fish.
