i think ferrets are very specific about their diet. mine only eats meat and fruit. it is very picky.

Ferrets should not eat fruit. They are pure carnivores. They eat meat. Fruits, veggies cause blockages, resulting in painful poos and possible surgery. He really shouldn't be eating anything else. Good treats that are also healthy are meat baby food. Like the chicken and chicken gravy baby food. Anything all meat is good for them. Its healthy and a good treat, plus helpful if your ferret is sick, its more appetizing for a sick ferret than kibble, plus you could microwave it a bit so its warm.
