can anyone help me find out where to go to find someone who breeds raccoons? i've wanted one since i was a little kid and i'm finally in the market and have the area to raise one. please help.

In Alot of states you cant sell raccoons...how ever you can find a baby a raise it but you have to have a permit. raccoons are very hard to take care of you have to have alot of free time..the are also expensive.I have a baby raccoon and i found him along with 3 brothers. i let the 3 brothers go when they were able to be on there own..but lil bitty was very premature and blind in one eye and would never survive...so we kept him!

I have a baby raccoon that I am needing to find a home for. She has been bottle fed since she was very young, She is almost completely weaned, but still drinking formula with baby cereal mixed in, and is still a little picky on what she will eat, we are striving for a cat food diet. She is about 4 mo old now and believes she is a cat but a little more trouble than my kitties are. u can go to lukasvell traedin days its here in ohio its comin up they have one in the spring time u have to go to the sprin time to get the baby also if u get one get him or her fixed females are tamer i think and when u bring it home let it sleep with u. they only take to a person who ever feeds it takes care of it spend as much time with it alot ive had 4 of them. good luck

I have a baby raccoon that i got a few days ago she was found and givin to us. I live in ohio and not sure where to get a permit or if any vets will give her her shots. any help or web links i could go to would be a great help. Please let me know if anyone has any info. Thnak you Dawn
