You need to check with your City, State and County to make sure they allow Pigmy Hippo's for pets. You might be best to move to Africa or India.

Hippos are an extremly dangerous animals and as much as I love exotic animals, I would not advise you to get a hippo.

Its better for a exotic animal to be kept with people who will actually care about it then for it to be kept in a zoo or some other dingy place - If someone is actually thiking about buying a exotic pet then they must have the money and conditions to keep an exotic pet - Animals will never be left alone someone will always take them - so again better if it goes to some rich person as a pet then for it to be stuck in a zoo. So you make me sick with your shallow mindedness.
