My osterich and Emu start laying eggs in the middle of Feb. Sometimes if I have to take them away because they are freezeing under them while they are trying to hatch they can lay up to 40 to 50 eggs in a season. They can lay one a day or if they are just starting one every third day or so. Good Luck
