Did you know that they might be whipped out by 2025 and you guys are acting like they are nothing. I should report this but i want you to know that you are doing something very wrong and I hope you know that you have just ruined a cheetahs life by taming it I want a cheetah so bad i could die but I would never do something as horrible as that. Think about it, they are not tamed animals and deserve to have a life so let them have one unless its too late. Comment #76 chauncey (68.41.148.177) - i can afford 1 but i dont know how and i love animals next when i hit college im majoring in animal surgen ...ect but how do u contact some one who has them or a place some 1 please contact me Comment #77 Chris (199.67.131.155) - Just a quick note it has been proven that Cheetahs do not mate in captivity, thus the only cheetahs you can obtain are wild. It would be counter-productive to take a Cheetah out of the wild as it could further impact their endangerment. Instead go buy a hairless cat as that should be exotic enough. Then you wouldn't have to import Gazelles for food. Comment #78 billy (96.245.128.13) - acctually it has been proven that they can mate in captivity they simuate the strutter-bark (that is there matting call) and they noticed that it sent the females into ovulation and started mateing with the males and voala a baby was born IN CATIVITY Comment #79 bob (209.169.203.109) - I have a cheetah and i raide him to work i bet he's faster than your car Comment #80 Theo (68.2.46.6) - Hi everyone, I live in the US, is it possible to own a cheetah here, and how can I get one? Comment #81 Ryan (216.171.252.22) - Yeah, seriously people, thinking that owning such an animal would be "cute" is completely idiotic. To take care of exotic cats of these sorts, you need years and years of experiance, and a place to put them, where they would be happy, and out of harms way. Comment #82 eddie Lelonek (69.245.219.11) - ancient arab kings had hundreds of cheetahs. being at the bottom of the big predator food chain in africa (below dog, lion, leopard, and hyena), they only get to eat something like 10% of their kills. supposedly pretty tame animals. anyone know how much they cost? Comment #83 tony (69.245.219.11) - as far as them getting wiped out...i think domesticating them might prevent that from happening. Comment #84 Evan Harris (66.44.196.46) - TOO ALL THE DUMBASSES SAYING CHEETAHS ARE FRAGILE... Comment #85 Skyler Harris (76.79.22.142) - Raising a cheetah is not as easy as it may seem. They are very aggressive as cubs but once they mature they make excellent pets whether you want to believe it or not. Comment #86 exotic pet lover (74.243.100.22) - I can name one animal that was domesticated besides dogs and ferrets- fennec foxes Comment #87 selena (76.101.179.63) - im a girl , lets say im going to help the rescue centers a lot! whenever in old enough im gonna be a....WILDLIFE VET!!!!! my first wild pet will be a cheetah and you cant do anything about it HAHAHAHAHAHA IN YOUR FACE! i think cheetas r beautiful n smart o yeah im also gonna own a ZOO! IM GONNA HAVE A BREEDING PROGRAM! HAHAHAHAHAHA!2 ALL YOU SAY OWNING A WILD ANIMAL IS WRONG WHY DONT YOU EDUCATE YOUR SELF AND STOP LISTENING TO 1 SIDE, BYE, SELENA Comment #88 Charles (41.208.50.160) - I can supply any kind of wild animal from south africa as we are in the game capture business and we often come across baby animals or people bring them in to us where we pay the vets fees to get them well. At present i have 4 lion cubs, 2 baby white rhino, 5 adult cheetah, numerous specie of baby antelope, a baby giraffe etc. We also get the small cats like serval and lynx. Should anyone require any of these animals for good causes (pets won't work) then please feel free to email me. Comment #89 Charles (41.208.50.160) - Just to add to my above post - no animals are taken from the wild. Firstly this is africa and if you want to take a baby cheetah from its mom then good luck to you...........first you have to find them and second you got to catch them and then third you have to deal with mom who has 4 very sharp canines she would love to sink into your paw!! My email pwc.charles@gmail.com Comment #90 jordan from Pennsylvania, SaturnX - you always have to be careful with exotic animals, but to domesticate them mite help. i definitly want a cheetah. who knows laws and where to get one and price. Comment #91 Riana van Nieuwenhuizen (196.207.47.60) - I live in South Africa and I am looking for adult cheetahs for a breeding project. Comment #92 caroline (80.6.253.26) - lots of you are saying not to feed by hand because they are prederters but so are dogs but you feed them by hand and some of you are saying they belong in the wild as thay are wild animals and should not be tamed but they are just like dogs pet cats lizerds birds cheetahs are no more dangeros than a dog they cant over power any one over 16 as there mosels are develeped for running if a cheetah is tamed right it shoud be fine you dont have to feed cheetahs gezzels any meat is good and just cos they are fast dos not mean they need lots of exisize they only run fast for a moment then they have to stop the need no more ex then a dalmashion Comment #93 caroline (80.6.253.26) - in the one above it is no in sted of how Comment #94 SHARON (194.200.243.150) - Tue Sep 8 11:22:03 2009 Stupid yanks, and stupid canadaians (and anyone else that wants to 'own' a wild animal). these creatures belong in the wild. No wonder our planet is in such a mess when there are people out there like you lot. God help us all (if he exists that is!). Comment #95 steff (41.213.126.7) - Mon Sep 28 09:15:43 2009 hey ive adopted a cheetah at the dewildt and id really like to buy one pls let me no a price or any info on where to buy one Comment #96 Gonzo (75.186.80.153) - Mon Sep 28 17:47:33 2009 Those who are fimiliar with me, you know my policy on wild animals. If you keep their natural instincs intact(as in having it on a reserve that closely resembles their nateral habitat and feeding them so it's a challenge for them) and they are overall happy, and you don't harm it at all or keep it in a cage, then I'm okay. NEVER put a wild animal in a cage. And if you don't live in a place that is like a cheetah's natural inviroment, don't get a cheetah. If you do without having these circumstances, well you're just plain evil and selfish. Comment #97 me (67.191.16.146) - Mon Sep 28 19:46:19 2009 YEAH I WISH I HAD A PET CHEETAH BUT MY DAD WORD IS NO I TRY BUT PLANTC WAS HARD I TRIED TO THROW HIM DOWN THE PIGS DUMP NOW ANY ONE GOT A PLANTD PLZ Comment #98 angela (168.9.40.241) - Fri Oct 23 14:32:39 2009 "i want to have an cheetah" • Page 1 (Original Post) • Page 2 • Page 3 • Page 4 (Newest Replies) •
