What kind of pet stores do they have in India?

Here in Uruguay they seem pretty much like the pet stores in the USA... but maybe more of them. I can walk to 5 that I can think of hand and there are probably many more that I walk past everyday.

They will delivery stuff and do some vet activities in your house too.

I have a friend who has a snapping turtle, he's had it for more than 15 years. The turtle is kept in a large plastic tub with water and fed mice and chicks. There are no rocks or other things in the tub. The snapping turtle is always angry, not tame.

It just seems very inhumane to me to keep such a wild pet in such a confined environment with no stimulation. Am I wrong? Shouldn't this animal be in a stream somewhere outside?
