i just want to get a baby red fox about 1 years old for about 30 pounds so ples if any one has one ples just writ a messig on here to hiho.I dont want it for a day i want it for ever i know evrthink i need to so ples some one choes me to give it because I've wanted one secen i could remeber..

Online may be the best way to go. Do some searches because it has been said that doing so is no different from ordering a book or section of art work.

However, buying these exotic pets in this way can be risky so a little vigilance is called for. Make sure you get all the information about the pets on sale and insist on doing safe transactions.

I do not seem to understand what Gonzo is trying to say. I still would be wary of having any exotic pet no matter how harmless it proves to be. Is different types of diet and climatic conditions the sole reason why these animals vary in size? Is this species of animals of slow temper or once in a while they display rage?

I'm SAYING foxes shouldn't be pets. Some people treat their foxes like dogs, which is degrading them. I mean- if foxes were endangered and someone made a fox preserve to breed them but didn't treat them like pets so they were still wild, then it's acceptable. But they aren't acceptable as pets because foxes are much more magestic then that. Plus there are thousands of abused, dying animals who need a home desperately, while foxes sit in their breeders A-Okay.

Right on it Sir. In other words, domesticating them is akin to degradation? True, there are dying pets all around us but that would depend on your kind of preference.

Whereas someone would find an iguana such an adorable pet to keep, another will cringe at the idea of even sighting a young one for that matter.

I think the issue need be whether or not they are soon facing extinction.

I think it is wrong to think that way. For me we should not wait till a certain breed of animal is on the extent of extinction before we make a move over it. I think we should avoid domesticating and putting this poor animals in cage to stop extincting them in the future.

Let us be contented with those dogs and cats that are ideal as pets.. Do i sound a little emotional?

I think you sound a little funny to me. Why? Because you got stuck on the usual way of getting pets, only dogs and cats? Can you include fish and birds on your list?

I would like to share this story from a friend of mine. He always told me that dogs and cats really are good pets but then again, he would always want to some bonding time with those strange animals like iguanas and spiders.. maybe this kind of curiosity pushes those people on keeping strange pets..

I'm fine with foxes as pets, but only if you live in their natural habatat and give them the space you'd give a wild fox.

I do like strange pets, but I would never degrade an animal(like you do if you treat a fox like a common dog). I would looorve a cow, a star-nosed mole, an Eastern mole, or a spotted skunk. But I can't own one, and I would be selfish to try, because I'm not dedicated and qualified to.

That is true Gonzo, we have to be very responsible when we adopt a pet, this red fox kits for sale requires buyers to have the means to support its physiologic needs, like a nice shelter, proper and adequate food, and so much more.

And so if you are by chance would want to adopt a strange pet, consult your conscience first if you can provide its necessary needs. Ciao..

People say that most toads tend to give off a poison that most dogs cannot withstand for too long. Sometimes, one bite of a toad this afternoon, and a person's dog may surely be dead by the next morning. I wonder if fox's can withstand that poisonous excretion, or whatever it is that the toads let out.

Is it healthy or even ethical to keep such animals as pets? What does the local law says about earning foxes? Aren't they a danger or menace if they get out of one's ownership or yard? Or how about, how are they as pets? Are they obedient and what certainty that the animal would not go berserk or against their owners? Hope someone who knows about these animals can answer my inquiry.

Owning a fox is something that I have never really heard of in al of my life. Unless of course it was in a movie, more so and animated one, or in a game of some sort, maybe.

Not just foxes, I think more and more exotic and wild animals are being caged to become a pet. I hate the thought of those animals becoming a captive. People, we would not want to be caged right? So please do not do the same with animals, they have feelings too. they also got threatened and scared, and we should know the proper thing to do. To leave them to where they should be.
