I have a few questions about my pet rock:

What do I feed it?

How can I train it?

Pets Rocks make the greatest pets of all! Here are your answers:

First, pet rocks are very cheap because they survive on nothing at all. It will live forever, which is unfortunate, because who will take care of it when you are dead? The only drawback i sthey aren't very smart so they can only learn two tricks, lay down and sit. Which I guess is fortunate for the training part and unfortunate in the learning new tricks department. On the upside, they listening without complaining to everything you say, never ask to go outside, pee in the house, or run away. Good luck!

A pet rock is hardly affectionate. The only tricks it can learn is how to break windows. They don't listen, they only ignore you. You can't tickle them (unless you want to rub your fingers raw).

ROCK PETS ROCK!!... they are awesome!... they're cute little animals that dont need much looking after and ar very cheap.. they can even grow hair.. moss is what u call it.... they move to.. but onli wen u kick them.. there soo handy!! if someone is annoying u then all u hav to do is throw yur rock pet at them!.. they protect u if someone tries to hurt u!.. and they neva die at all! so u can play wif them all u want:)

Pet rocks have a very high i-q. They are smarter than us, so they can read and hurt the bullies. So, you can teach it to sit stay lay down and a throw attack. Be nice to all rocks!!

Pet rocks cheapest and greatest pet ever!!!

You don't have to feed it and it only knows three tricks: sit, lay down, and stay. It will unfortunately live forever and it won't ever get sick so you don't have to go to the vet. If you notice some moss growing I would suggest "shaving" (peel off the moss)so that your pet is never too warm.

Dear Guy,

the best place to put a pet rock is in a house! i have a rock named rosarita and her house has a tv, a closet, and soon a hot tub! be creative, you never know what his interests are!

To everyone else,

pet rocks know waaaaaaay more then just 3 tricks. they can roll over down a slide, and you can make them do a triple flip. I love my rock and i take her everywhere with me so i even made her a travel home!

I LOVE MY PET ROCK CALLED ''ROCK''!!! I taught him to roll over and to not talk forever and thats all. I feed him 15 dollar cow manure from the farm and to feed them squish it in their face! Here are the main things you need to know about pet rocks

1. Give it a bath a least 1 time per week (do more iff you take it around with you)

2. Make it a nice place to live or at least a bed if your the type that likes taking your rock around town with you

3. Name it, but be creative!

4. Give it attention

5. Try not to leave it in a place like a middle of a room or else it could get kicked and rocks no like 2 be kicked : (

Dear Annie,

I made my travel home out of popsicle sticks. It took a while, but I finally got it! I put a piece of tape across it that said: Caution: Live Animal. It has a small cot, a tv and (of course!) a portable toilet. As for the hot tub, I just take a bowl or a piece of tuperwere and fill it with lukewarm water. Don't forget to put a plasma screen tv over it!

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET ROCK LOCKED IN THE CAR IN THE SUMMER TIME! They do NOT like it. It makes them VERY aggressive! and they DO bite!

They are pretty good, and I highly recommend them to anyone who can't afford a bunny. (I really wanted a bunny...)

What do I feed it? Never, but it will need to drink. Water is suggested.

How can I train it? It already knows SEVERAL commands: Sit, stay, play dead... you're already ahead of many dog owners.

What are the best commands? See above. You may also want to put it in your pocket and teach it to "heel".

How long will it live? In the right conditions, forever.

How often should my vet check it? Rocks are resistant to all germs; however they CAN be carriers. So wash your hands after handling it.

this message is to everyone: do not try to kill your pet rock on a tree no matter what. DOING SO MAY RESULT IN INJURY.also the neibors will get extremely angry at you for chipping the wood on the trees in their back yard plus you always want to keep you and your rock happy and entertained i accidentally killed my pet rock(josy)while playing catch with her then CRACK!CRUNCH!shes in pieces so i took my favorite piece of her and named it phobeo(fo-bee-o)i recomend that you dont make thier face with permanant marker risk is you might make a mistake and be able to do nothing about it and pet rocks are very easy to lose but to keep them safe take them in a carier case give them any thing they need(or want) and thell be happy. i love my rock to bits my friends think i'm crazy but i finally got my friend to like them although i dont remember its name but i want to talk a little about your rock first of all it does not like kicked thrown drawn on it likes played gently with and never ever name your rock something like rocky or dumbo for this insults your rock if you are wondering about food and water that is convenient cause your rock never gets hungry i was told to keep lotion in my pocket or purse caus a common but serious disease can accure with your rock if it chips or flakes bathe it and rub just a bit of lotion on that spot good luck with your rock

i heard the pet rocks from the wild can be dangerous, but mine isn't! i found it in the my backyard, and it has done nothing wrong.tell me why!

p.s.never wash your rock with hand soap, it dulls the color

What do you feed it? Proper feeding dictates: Cheeseburgers, pizza and the occasional taco.

Training/Commands: The first command, much like dogs, should be "Sit" and "Stay". I have a feeling this will be easy with your pet rock.

How long will it live? Rocks are part of the Highlander gene pool. It will live forever...and in the end, there will "Be only one!"

Vet check ups: No need. All your rock needs to stay healthy is a monthly visit to the beach, mountains or other rocky location.

i took in one of the rocks from the herd she sseem nice i named her Bambi.she like to get tans in the sun and here is how: rub some sun sreen on ur rock then lay thin upside down in the sun after thrirty min. flip them. wait thirty more min. they take them inside give them a bath and they should be tanned!

OH and milk-e1, u can make a carring case by taking a shoe box , poke holes in the top, the tape or glue on a shoe lase or string and put in your rocks then tape the case shut! and u now have a carring cage. and i belive u about the fllying thing! rock are alive! people think their not but the are!!!!

some rocks are color blind, and thanks for the tips but i dont think i can have ALL the rocks cuz there is like 30 of them! oh and u can get the training manual on ebay and to get the carreing case u have to get the WHOLE SET (rock, manual, case) so i hope that helped! :)

I have a lovley blunt-triangular pet rock called rocky!! He's about 3 inches wide and 3 inches long! I make a lavendery smelling wash for him sometimes! Here's how:

You need:

a plastic jug, Hot water, purple soap(lavender Smelling), plain soap, and a small water gun:

Pour hot water into jug, then get purple soap and mix for 30 seconds, then mix plain soap and mix for 30 seconds, pour into water gun straight away and squirt your rock in the Hard-to-reach places!
