'Looking for a Fennec Fox kit'

Hi my name is Tawnni. My husband and I are looking for a pet because we do not want kids at the time. Last night he was looking around the internet and found a site on Fennec foxes he instantly fell in love. So he showed me and I said I would look around for one. This is not my website, but I thought you might like to know about this; Helen's Little Critters raises Fennec Fox Kits among other things. FF kits are kind of pricey everywhere. But they are potty trainable, high energy, but easy to feed and care for though they need lots of love and attention like most k-9's, and do make great house pets. Aren't they adorable- :)

You can look up a few places to get one. Be sure to check if endangered species of the canine breed are illegal to possess in your state; I'm not too sure how many they ARE illegal in, but if you're ordering one you definately want to be legit.

I also think fennec foxes need you to have certain papers saying you can have them? I don't know much about owning exotics.

I did some research on them, though, and you HAVE to keep them leashed when out of the house or a controlled outdoor environment (fencing, etc.) and they are also very good diggers. So, if you cage them outside, be sure to put the caging VERY deep into the ground, and curve the top or conceal the top altogether. They're very agile and quick, so they can get away easily.

Other than that, they supposedly make great pets when given enough attention. :D

I was interested in the fennec fox and i know there pretty high in price and then plus that i would probly have to get it flown out to me. I was just woundering if anybody knew where any good deals for them are :) because i really want one bad!

Hi I'm interested in sheltering or adopting a fennec fox. Would appreciate information regarding this. Are they legal in Los Angeles or New York?
