i have a malamute in a 50x 55 8 feet high. and it seems too small. I have 4 wovles in a 100x50, 10 feet high and is seems too small. I dont know if 10 feet is long enough. but for our 50x55 fence it was around 900$(canadian) after everything was done.

I dont knwo how to help you. Wolves are runners, pack animals, and enjoy large space.

but for you... Check out kijiji's forms. They should help you. if you cant find anything here

I have A male kink I have had since 2 days old! He is now 7 and I built a 24X24 addition to my house for him. I am building his outdoor enclosure this spring which will be 14x14x12. Kinks like to jump, play and I believe the more space the better. Just be aware that as kinks mature they become very territorial. You need to keep in mind who is going to be able top feed and care for him if you leave. I built a zoo like feeding cage in my enclosure so that anyone can feed him if I have to leave. He became extrmely aggressive once he reached 2, so since I travel once a month I had to find a solution. I feed him daily in the compartment so its never an issue if I cant be there. Good Luck to you and your Kink!

Excuse me, I have a kinkajou and was wondering what I should feed it. ive been feeding it chicken frys (no sauce) from BK but I think I remember reading something about it eating fruit in the wild. but if so it makes no sense because I gave him an apple pie from BK and he would not eat it.

Please tell me you're joking.

People eat that "food".... of course they are crazy for doing so, but why think they wouldn't treat their pets the "same"?

I have a Kinkajou and she is in my house right now because it is cold. She is in a 12ft long 9ft high and 4 ft deep. I let her sleep an eat in that. At night I take her out and she has a room of her own to play in it is 20 x 20. She rips around like a crazy person. In the summer she has a 20 x 40 x 7 ft high. They have alot of energy and need to get rid of it. Do you have a tree or something in her cage to climb? Also I have strung Large wood and plastic beeds and attached them to tree trunks to make things for her to hang on and that kind of sort. I think that there mental health is just as important as her physical health. Sometimes I give her an egg with a little hole in it and watch her figure it out. Also I took a small childs trumpit toy and dismantled it and sealed the bottom. I filled it with nectur or a bit of honey and I watch her with her six inch tongue do what she was ment to do. Have fun and remember to stimulate them mentally as well as carring for her physical needs.

Hello

I use to have a kinkajou and now I am looking to get another one either to buy or adopt one. The question I read was a guy asking about the size of the cage.4 ft by 4 ft is fine.We put a shelf on top for its food and had a box made from paneling for him to sleep in and he would stand on top of it and lean over to go to the bathroom. Ours ran all over the house loved playing with the puppy and kittens we had also. Im hoping to get another one soon. We had ours for 10 years.

Answering Dans question about the kinkajou.....we had a large cage made near the top we had a shelf on it for food and drink, we also had a box inside the cage with a blanket for him to sleep in.he also then leaned over the box to go potty.Ours loved to eat bananas and bread with honey on it..we had our kinkajou for over 10 years. I hope to get another one soon.

I own an 8 month old kink female and she is the greatest pet. It concerns me about the changes they make when they mature. Right now she has about an hour of loving time before she will wake up completely and act like she's on meth. Is there a chance she will remain loving after maturity and also, what vaccinations are reccommended? Thanks John

Hi,

I have a kinkajou named mowgli, ive had him for a year and he was 2 when I got him. BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME. I love my kinkajou more than anything. He was the best pet we ever had and the sweetest thing. Then he bit my dad, it was the first time he bit anyone and since then its been getting worse, he started biting ever male in my life, my dad, my boyfriend, and recently he bit my best friend when hes never shown any agression tword females. its now to the point where he only wants to be with me and he tries to attack anyone who even wants to sit next to me if I have him in my arms. I have even been bit once but my bight was nothing compared to all his other bites. He's fine with me I spend day hours cuddling, taking naps, snaking watching tv etc with him and hes fine, and at night he runs around my room until I go to sleep.

Does anyone know how to help this? or the best way to possibly train them?

WHAT THE HECK ARE KINKAJOUS?!?!?!?!

YOU DON'T KNOW?! Golly for a pet lover... kinkajous are sort of like little monkeys or lemours with prehensile tails(if you don't know what THAT means you need help). They're orangey color with large eyes. They're cute, really. They eat insects and fruit I think. But I don't think they should be pets, because they're wild animals like monkies. And you know it's not good to have an animal like that for a pet. It's like having a two-year-old for a pet.
