Bookeh from Exodus - Sat Oct 10 10:21:39 2009

I got a new notebook to write stories in. Anybody working on a story or just thinking of creatures, post here! Only one person is banned from here: Big Dog!

Bookeheheheh (XD)

Comment #1 Bookeh from Exodus - Sat Oct 10 15:45:36 2009

I am writing a story about wolves. Starting a series, actually. There are 5 clans. Fire, Water, Wind, Thunder, and Shadow. Shadow is EEEEVIIIIL!!! Maybe like 7-8 books long. I probably won't even finish the first, but my mom said that she's positive I'm gonna be famous. XD *slaps head*

Comment #2 Brookii from The Land of Dragons - Sat Oct 10 16:10:08 2009

no offence bookeh but you sound like your kind of copying warriors. th ebooks about the cats in for different cland. riverclan, WINDCLAN, THUNDERCLAN, AND SHADOWCLAN

Comment #3 Bookeh from Exodus - Sat Oct 10 16:12:07 2009

Oh, well excuse me. I've actually never read (or really heard of) the books.

Comment #4 Kat (96.231.137.193) - Sat Oct 10 16:14:26 2009

I love wolfehs! :D And it does sound a bit like Warriors, but I respect that Bookeh has enough integrity to never, ever copy :D

Comment #5 Brookii from The Land of Dragons - Sat Oct 10 16:15:01 2009

oh its ok if youve never heard of them. i just thought you might be copying them cause those clans were in it. sorry for saying that

Comment #6 Bookeh from Exodus - Sat Oct 10 16:18:31 2009

Yeah, it is my ORIGINAL idea. On October 31, for them, 31 of Harvest, it is their Day of Ancestry (sp?). All clans have a dance to remember the past. t's complicated. :P

Kat, You're right. I would never, ever, copy.

Comment #7 Gonzo (75.186.64.209) - Sat Oct 10 16:21:02 2009

Bookeh, our parents always think we're going to be famous(or say it) Please don't take this as offense, just friendly critisism, but it isn't very original. There are LOADS of books about animals like that.

Comment #8 Kat (96.231.137.193) - Sat Oct 10 16:21:31 2009

Hiya! Okay, go to the link, and scroll ALL the way down to the bottom, and you'll find my character, Toxic. Ain't he awesome? *huggles* He's currently my desktop background :D

Also, you can look at the other pictures done in the thread by me, but warning: Some contain blood (really just one... it has a deep meaning, though). The ones at the toop were done in, like, February, and aren't very good xD

Comment #9 Kat (96.231.137.193) - Sat Oct 10 16:22:28 2009

Okay, Gonzo, so what if she writes about wolves? She loves them and what makes it original is the way she writes it.

Comment #10 Gonzo (75.186.64.209) - Sat Oct 10 16:25:50 2009

I don't mean about wolves, I mean animals with clans and elements and such. And no, it's not the way you write it always, Kat. If you rewrote Harry Potter in your own words and rearange it a little bit, it would not be original.

Comment #11 Kat (96.231.137.193) - Sat Oct 10 16:28:05 2009

What's wrong with Clans and elements? And I'm talking about the plot. Let's say she was copying Warriors (I KNOW your not, Bookeh, I swear, this is just an example to prove my point xD). If it had the same plot, but only with wolves, that would be unoriginal. But just one minor thing that's similar to other books doesn't make it unoriginal.

Comment #12 Kat (96.231.137.193) - Sat Oct 10 16:29:47 2009

Also, since wolves are social animals, it'd be natural to out them into clans/packs. I think Warriors is a little odd because cats are solitary creatures, and they live in clans. But wolf packs are completely natural.

Comment #13 Gonzo (75.186.64.209) - Sat Oct 10 16:34:32 2009

Two things, Kat. Clans AND Elements. If it were one thing, it would be different. It's like writing a story that takes place in the Harry Potter world with different people and different happenings. And the thing is, it's been done so many many times before. That's what makes it unoriginal. It's just like how people think stories about high school girls with drama are original when it's so worn out. Kat, no matter how you look at it, it's not original. I mean, say if she gave each indevidual wolf an element, or had them all in a pack, that would be okay. But having them in packs with elements to a pack is so been-there-done-that.

Comment #14 Kat (96.231.137.193) - Sat Oct 10 16:36:26 2009

Who even says that they have elements? Bookeh's simply said that the packs are just named after elements. And I have not read one book that has animals with elements. Please, give me a list.

Comment #15 Gonzo (75.186.64.209) - Sat Oct 10 16:39:57 2009

I know they are named after elements, that's the thing. If they DID have elements it would be different. And you know I can't make a list, it's like asking me to make a list of books that take place in a high school. I've heard about them, but I would never read them. I never read books like Bookeh stated, but when people give book talks they are ALL the same. As soon as the word "clan" appears I throw the thinking away and think of a ORIGNAL book that I will be writing soon. (I'm still mind-planning it)

Comment #16 Kat (96.231.137.193) - Sat Oct 10 16:41:06 2009

Alright, name 5 for me.

Comment #17 Kat (96.231.137.193) - Sat Oct 10 17:07:58 2009

Also, does anyone have comments on Toxic's design? Please note that these wolves live on an island and are mutated, giving them fantasy colorations.

Comment #18 Bookeh from Exodus - Sat Oct 10 17:21:30 2009

Cool. I love Toxic! He rocks! Also, Target is really cool.

Shut up, Gonzo.

Bookeh

Comment #19 Kat (96.231.137.193) - Sat Oct 10 17:24:50 2009

Yeah, Target is actually my friend's (Moon). He's her pet on this awesome website called Chicken Smoothie where you can adopt wolves. I'll include a link.

Glad you like Toxic :D I had WAY to much fun on the background xD

I may make a character like Target, except he would have 1 tain and no mask over his eyes... I'd call him Calamus, which is latin for Arrow. I WOULD call him Tycho (latin for Bullseye) but my friend LOVES that name and uses it for a bunch of stuff, and, of course, I wouldn't want to copy her xD

Comment #20 Kat (96.231.137.193) - Sat Oct 10 17:25:32 2009

Carrection: 1 tail, not tain. In the picture, he has 3 tails.

Comment #21 Kat (96.231.137.193) - Sat Oct 10 17:26:32 2009

Agh! What is UP with me today?! Correction, nor carrection -.-;

*hits fingers* Stop making typos!

Comment #22 Bookeh from Exodus - Sat Oct 10 17:34:22 2009

Really, thanks for sticking up for me.

Gonzo, seriously. If you know my plot so well, tell me the entire story. *gets popcorn*

OHHHHH!!!! I JUST FIGURED SOMETHING OUT!!! Okay. Gonzo is always saying you're weak in certain areas if you are offended, or whatev, but she's just saying that because SHE is weak! *slaps head* Wow. Took me long eough to realize that! Okay, Gnat! You're weak! :P Another thing she is that she points out spelling errors and grammar errors because she has so comebacks! *slap head again*

*scatters popcorn everywhere* XD

Bookeh

Comment #23 Kat (96.231.137.193) - Sat Oct 10 17:48:13 2009

Mmmmmm popcorn! *eats off floor* xD

Comment #24 Bookeh from Exodus - Sat Oct 10 17:49:58 2009
