| I am been doing some research on bobcats. I am hoping you are talking about true bobcats and not hybrid or lynx, because what I want is a bobcat and need to know more about them before I will get one. I know they eat from 2 to 3 pounds of food at a time, but how often, is this everyday or more than once a day? I read of people keeping them in a cage that resembles there natural habitats. Can they live inside, and do you know how good they are around kids, I don’t have any, but I would like to know for precautionary reasons? Now I know this question may sound stupid but again for precaution would it be good idea to have something done with the front claws so that the bobcat can not accidently hurt anyone, say it some how gets out and escapes? And were do you get there food, because I only have been able to find that they need to eat like they are still wild, so I have to have a food supplier, for alive food, or a deep freezer, but if I use the deep freezer method how do balance the diet correctly? |
