I was on my routine trap checking duty, and noticed a young fox had been caught for several days in one of my large, bear leg holds. His leg was nearly severed off and it looked pretty grim to say the least. I have taken a first aid course before, and think I will be able to take care of and heal the fox myself, even sewing the leg and nerves back together in required. Has anyone done this before? Just looking for someone with past experience so I can relate.

How could you set a cruel trap such as you did? The poor little thing must have suffered for days.

Hello, are you selling the baby fox kits?

Carol, the fox kit did survive, but he has suffered some permanent leg damage. If you would like to buy it, email me and we'll see if anything can be arranged.

Man, what a bunch of morons-this story was posted by 'joe', six months ago. Do you really think anyone could sew it back together, including NERVES?! And who would be stupid enough to actually sell (or buy) an injured wild animal? The whole thread must be BS.
