Have you consulted with a vet? Does he eat the same food as you? Do you have the same problem?

In younger dogs, most vets will tell you its dietary so adjust his food. Try different foods one 40 pound bag at a time until you find one that doesn't cause your dog to have so much gas. In older dogs it's just part of the aging process and you can only reduce it so much because just like us they don't process foods as well as they get older. The less human food you feed them the better off they are - not that they'll ever understand it...lol

It probably comes from the atmosphere of the 4th planet.

I hear that causes increased airflow through the intestines.

I'd suggest moving or exercising more often with your doggie.

Farting is just a part of their system but excessive farting could have some sort of bad meaning with regards to their health,

Here is why dog suffer from excessive farts

* Eating too fast - When the dog eats too fast, swallowed air (aerophagia) makes it to the intestines very quickly and in a more concentrated quantity.

* The natural processes of producing the gas through food digestion and absorption within the digestive and eliminatory tracts.

* Eating foods that are known to cause flatulence (beans, cauliflower etc).

* Eating a poor quality dog food.

"how to stop your dog farting"

i have finally found a really effective cure for dogs farting.

it involves placing a very small piece of lead into the dogs ear canal

it is amazingly effective and works almost instantly..oh it also works much better if you put the lead in the dogs ear using a gun.

guaranteed success

Woah, this was a surprise to me. I am not talking about dogs and farting but people actually observes and notice that dogs fart. They must really spend most of their times with their dogs in order to hear such frequent habits.

Is it really necessary to actually prevent dogs from farting. I think we should leave our dogs and their farts alone. Actually I do not hear my dog fart but I know that they fart since it suddenly smelled bad. Eeewww.. Guess I just have to make sure that whenever my dog behave strange I should get ready for a disgusting smell from his ass. Hahaha. Good day everyone. Ciao.

This is funny, why should people bother over farts of dogs and their pets. I find this strange. I think we should leave their stuffs alone, just like what Rico said, if they are to fart then let them fart. Hahaha, I would never want anyone to prevent me from farting. And I think those dogs feel the same way too. Anyway, have a great day guys and keep all of those posts coming in.
