What kind of collar?

What kind of collar do you use on your dog? When we were training Sadie when she was younger we found a pinch collar to be really effective. A pinch collar should only be used for training and should not be left on at any other time besides training. We haven't put this type of collar on her for several years. It was only to teach her to walk next to us etc. Shadow uses a choke collar when we walk her. She pulls so much that we have to use it to have any kind of decent walk. They both have regular collars. Sadie wears red and Shadow wears aqua. But actually neither one of them wear them in the house at all. We found that when our daughter was born and they dogs would shake their collars with all the tags on them would wake her up. So we just took them off of both of them. We have the fenced in yard and they are not allowed out the front door without a leash and a collar on. It works for us. What kind do you use?

We would use a choke collar when we were walking the dog. We just wanted to make sure that we had some control over her "just in case".
