Training Seeing Eye Dogs

I think the seeing eye dog training program is a great idea but I don't think I could do it. I know when they left my house they would be doing a really good thing and helping someone else. But I would get so attached to the dog that I would not want it to leave. We have considered it but I am a huge sap and my husband would have to drag the dog out of my arms to give it back. Have you ever taken in a puppy that was going to be a seeing eye dog or do you know of someone else that has?

I would get too attached to this dog too. A friend of mine is on the police department and he grew very attached to one of those K-9 dogs. When the dog died, he was devastated. He was like one of his own.

it would be so sad 2 let the dog go but i would want 2 do it cause u know it goes 2 a good home
