Do you flea dip your pet? I have a miniature dachsund and she only weighs about 4 pounds so I have been advised she is too small to do a flea dip. The only thing I do is have her wear a flea collar and we bathe her twice a month. She gets too dry if we bathe her more often. What other options do I have?

You can't do the flea medication that you get from your vet? We just use the kind that you put drops all their backs from head to tail. We have had really good luck with it. I would say talk to your vet to see what they can do for little dogs that don't weigh very much. Fleas are horrible to clean up in your house. Where I live cold is coming fast and we don't flea treat in the winter only in the summer.

This site has some great information on how to prevent fleas and ticks. Have a look and see if they help you out. I think they will.
