One of my favorites for nonshedding is the Maltese dogs. The average weight is six pounds. They are always happy and willing do/go whatever/wherever their master would like. They don't yap a lot either.

GREAT DANES shed very little, and super watch dogs and is gentle with toddlers...but they are BIG!

I have a wonderfull Pitt bull that we have had sense she, s been 8 weeks old and now she is 12 yrs, And i Have to say that she really never sheds at all. Get a short haired Dog . Thats the way to go.
