dogs dont like the smell of very strong scented oils.i dont know if anybody has ever heard of olbas oil for blocked noses.they hate it, and it does not effect them if they swallow it so just drop a few drops around or on the kitty litter.

its also good for stopping nippy puppies.

rub some on your hands or wherever the puppy bites you =]

my dog eats cat poop too. and she is on GOOD food... so the lacking of vitamins does not seem right to me. as she is getting them from the natural balance food..

i'm going to try this doggone litter blocker. it sounds like the best solution. i've heard of the cayenne trick too but i wonder if it'll dissuade the cat's from using the box.

"Cat Poop Eater "

My Goldens have all been cat poop eaters. I can't stand the smell of her anymore. I've tried brushing her teeth (makes ME want to puke), giving her a stern talking to. Making her stay outside... then she just finds deer poop to roll in and then I have to give her a bath.

oh my god i cant beleive how many dogs do this i thought mine was the only one..its so gross i just dont get it..but i did want to mention that those pills only make the dogs poop taste gross not the cats unless u give it to the cat also....

I have been searching to find answers... there is a pill and a powder to put in the food. One is called Deter the other is Forbid. I have also heard about putting meat tenderizer on their food (must have MSG in it) Also read that adding 2-4 Tbsp of canned pumpkin, or 1-3 tsp of pineapple juice or spinach may help (depending on if your dog/cat will eat their veggies).

i have 2 dogs and 1 cat and the 2 dogs always eat the cats poop.

its so NASTY then they want to kiss you and lick you it nasty...

what can i do to stop these dogs from eating cat poop...

and they eat all the time..

its not like there hungry.!!!!
