How to know if your dog have kennel cough?

Symptoms can include a harsh, dry hacking/coughing, retching, sneezing, snorting, gagging or vomiting in response to light pressing of the trachea or after excitement or exercise. The presence of a fever varies from case to case. The disease can last initially from 10-20 days and can rebreak when the dog is put into a stressful situation which puts stress on the dog's immune system. Diagnosis is made by seeing these symptoms, having a history of exposure is also helpful but not always found as kennel cough is easily spread through contact with contaminated surfaces such as the ground, toys, sidewalks, dog parks.

So that is the reason why dogs cough, so if ever I do not let my dog get tired will that mean that my dog wont get kennel cough? I have a cute little dog and I would definitely want him safe from such illness. How can I prevent this to happen? Please kindly post here some useful link that I can use.

Here is some ways to prevent kennel cough

How to Prevent Kennel Cough

When it comes to diseases, prevention is always better than cure. If your dog is prone to developing kennel cough, it is best that you take pains in making sure that there are no trigger points that may give rise to the disease. While kennel cough is not really a dangerous or a life-threatening health concern, you should still do everything you can to prevent it from happening to your pet.
