My Favorite Stay Cat

This orange cat is lives about half between between my apartment and Punta Carretas Shopping. Its nice to stop and play with her. She is a stray cat but one of the doormen feeds her so every afternoon I can find her relaxing in the sun.

We have a cat that isn't necessarily a stray (she has a collar and tags), but she is always roaming the neighborhood. Her name is Shock Tart. Funny name for a cat. She always comes over to me wanting me to pet her and she will roll on her back and after I start petting her she bites me, not hard, but just playfully.

My favorite wasn't exactly a stray. My ex and his brother were both working apartment maintenance at neighboring complexes and his brother kept seeing this kitten. She had been left behind when some tenants moved out and she was friendly with people but afraid of other animals, and she was young - too young to be separated from mom I think. He couldn't keep her since he had 3 so I got her. She was the most loyal cat I have ever met. She never got very big and she looked black until she got into the sun. And she was the best mouser I ever met.

My Mom's Cat was discovered outdoors in Winter when the Kitten "Yow Yow" was found outside and her tail was frozen in a puddle of water - sad yes but happy My Mom found her. My Mom had to warm some water up in a pail and bring it to the puddle of frozen water to unfreeze the Kitten's tail. Mom took Yow Yow to the Vet in which part of her tail had to be removed - sad yes but saved kittie's life! Yow Yow is now the happy resident with my Mom with a short tail but if you consider how sylish it is to have a short tail! She is long-haired black and white chest and feet (booties). She loves my Mom that is for sure!!!

Yes post # 5, with that picture, you cannot easily tell whether it is playful or not. Most people fear stray cats because of the notion that it could turn ferocious anytime. I love the way the cut purs and playfully gets around you but it has to be well trained.

If you find an abandoned one, do not just pass by. Take it in and provide 'foster' care. You will be amazed
