What kind of toys do your cats play with? Do you think it is important to give your cat toys to play with, or do you just leave it to its own devices. We always had great fun with a big pom-pom tied to the end of a fishing line. Swinging it back and forth int he living room got the cats all riled up!

Our cats' favoriate toys are simple things from around the house. Garlic stems, plastic, toilet paper. A dried garlic stem (looks like a muchroom with a long stem) has provided untold hours of fun.

For store bought stuff, little stuffed monkeys are her favorite and she likes to play catch with them. The monkeys cost about a buck fifty and beat any of the "official" cat toys that are much more expensive.

We liked buying the little mice that have the cat nip in them, our cats played with them for hours. We also had the little balls with bells in them. They would also play with string and pretty much anything that moves. What I hated was the clawing of my couch! She loved that toy the best.

I just got a new kitten and his favorite toy of all (keeps him busy for hours) if balled up wrapping paper. I was wrpping a couple gifts for Christmas and I took a little piece, balled it up and threw it to the side to be thrown away and kitten took to it like white on rice. He plays with that ball like crazy (you would think i stashed cat nip inside the thing) and pounces, throws it in the air, bats it around and plays all over the house with it.

I have talked to friends that cats and they said that there cats as well LOVE balled up paper.

hello

i want to know how to find out if a cat likes its toys i have tried rolled up paper i have spent futune on him he is sooooo spoiled rotten but he dont play with them any more he must have thousands of them do you think you could help me in any way ?
