Why Cats Bite

The most common types of cat aggression toward people are play motivated and the poorly understood ‘don’t pet me anymore’ behavior.

Owners whose cats display playful aggression often describe their pets as ‘turning mean’ or ‘vicious’.

No animal bites for no reason. If any animal bites you it's for a reason, even if us humans dont understand why, the animal has done it because you did something (in this case, it's cats).

From what i've heard, most of tehse cats are biting because they want something, are scared, or are trying to play. If you stop petting your cat they may get angry about this and can bite/scratch. If you walk away from the cat and it grabs your legs, it is most likely trying to play.

You people shouldn't have cats if you dont know anything on cat behavior. You people are the reason why so many cats end up homeless in shelters.

Hello every one!

i have owned cats practically all my life. All cats have different personalities and it has been proven that all cats behave different. this is a very true statement. for example: there is some cats that are very playful and like to be around people, others just try to be alone and do not like to be bother... at the end they are all felines and that is their nature, however their are our pets and they should not be agressive towards us. i have never been attacked by my cat, i think it is just a fact of how you treat your pet and understand their needs.
