My dad was cleaning out the backyard and he found 2 bird eggs they are little and white, I put them in a little box that was used to put my laptop charger in. I first had a little blanket underneath the eggs and some toilet paper on top with my teddy bear sitting on them. And every now and again I checked them with my torch, now i have them in a bigger container with the same blanket underneath with heaps of doiles on top of the eggs and they are in toilet paper. Is that okay or is it to warm or cold?, should i put the lid on? When or If they hatch what should i feed them? How long will it take to hatch? PLEASE I NEED THE ANSWERES!! also they are still pretty warm...

I have a male and a female cockett birds, The female lay eggs. Do i need to take the male out of the cage when the eggs hatch, Or doese the male help with the babies. Thank you.

My birds wern't sitting on the eggs so I put them under a lamp in a nest how long should it take to hatch them?

Right Every one is asking how to hatch an egg. Well 3 days ago i rescued 2 new holland honeyeater eggs. Okay I dont have an incubater so here is what i did.

While i set it up i put them in a blue box with some warm rags.

Here's what you need:

- Tank (dont use the lid!)

- Light bulb

- Heat mat (optional)

- some like nest

- Bored

-Thermonita

STEP 1

Okay put the heat mat on some bored and then put the tank on the heat mat.

STEP 2

Put the nest and eggs in the tank. Stick the thermometre near the eggs and nest.

STEP 3

Get a lamp and hang it down near the eggs. Turn every thing on.

TIPS

- For Aussies the temperture should be about 30-40 degrees.

- For small birds (eggs about 2-3 cm or less) it takes about 13-18 days to hatch.
