hi everyone i hade a robin egg in a nest and its mother was not there so i left it alone and she came back in ahour and now it hade hatch so if you see any robin eggs in any nest you should live them alone also there is a law about that and it animale crultie. how is the bird spose to live white pepole you cant tech it how to fly so you would have to put it in a cage and that is animale crultie anyone who does that is an my dad said.

Me and my best friend found eggs. We put them in a different nest.

if you found bird eggs LEAVE THEM ALONE !!! if you get your sent on the eggs the mom will not care for them. it is illegal to take eggs from a nest! If you found a abandon nest with eggs wait a while to see if the nest just fell or it is abandon. If its abandon put cloth over it and under a lamp with the NEST! If you don't want them leave them there so other animals can eat.If you accidently crack the egg DO NOT TAPE IT!!!

I have a Robin just build a nest in my flower box hanging outside my kitchen window. She leaves the nest and comes back there are two eggs in it now. How long will it take the eggs to hatch? Also she seems to be gone to often for me any way. How long can the eggs be with out the Robin siting on them.

I found a nest with eggs in my wreath on my front door & moved the wreath to the window next to the front door. I saw the bird come back & look at it & fly away. I kept watching & did not see the bird come back nearly all day. Soooo I felt really bad I moved the wreath back to the front door & decided I would go through the garage. I was so happy & surprised when the bird actually came back to it's nest. I heard if you move a nest they may abandon it, which I did not know until after I stupidly moved it. Can wait to see the babies right from my front porch window!

I recently had a bird nest in a fern on my porch. The moma bird was killed leaving 3 light blue eggs behind. I brought them in and put them under a lamp to keep them warm. How long will it take for the eggs to hatch, and what should I do until they hatch and after they hatch to keep them alive? I believe the eggs have been in the nest about 2-3 weeks, before the mother was killed today. Thankyou Jessica Sanders

about 2 weeks ago a dove layed 1 eggs in my hanging basket outside and 2 days ago the mother bird was found dead on the sidewalk in front of my house...i took the egg inside and put it in a little cup with cotton and toilet paper in it and put it under my lamp, the egg had been in the cold rain for about 4 hours before i rescued it! i need to know if it is dead or alive, and if it is alive how long will it take for the egg to hatch and what to do after it hatches! All light blue eggs are robin eggs.They eat grus(foun in any type of soil exept potted plant soil(don't touch the tail they bite)also they eat worms.They hatch in about 13-14 days they each hatch a day seperatly.Call me at 267-297-5491 if you have any more problems. . .

I am so sorry Katie, but your egg will not hatch. It will not hatch because it’s from the fridge, meaning the baby bird inside is all ready dead. Before they ship chicken eggs off to stores they freeze the eggs causing the bird inside to die :( It’s a sad thing really but I guess it just our nature.
