i found a white egg around 5cm height in my garden. it was cold so it could be dead inside. but i've brought it in and wrapped it with lots of tissue and cotton. its on my computer (warm heat) with a light on it.

would it live. and what can i feed it?

today i was getting back from the bagel place and i got out of the and i found and egg llaying i the grass by the tree in my front yard it turquoise and small it has a liitle tiny crack in it and wet stuff is coming out of it and its shaking but when i found it was cold i have no idea what its doing but my dad found a nest a while ago and the nest is in a bowl with a warm cloth i have a sun conure and she is afraid of the egg and we dont know what we'll feed it once it hatches maybe some of my birds food.

My friend and i found a birds nest with 2 eggs in it lying on the ground in her front yard. one of the eggs cracked and died, the other we brought inside and put it and it's nest under a lamp inside. WHAT DO WE DO NOW????? WILL IT DIE???? HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO HATCH???????

My trees were being trimmed and in the proccess a birds nest was found with 2 eggs in it. We were undecided whether of not to move the nest or bring in inside to try and hatch ourselves. Well, the tree trimmer touched the eggs and I was under the impression that once an egg is handled, the Mother will no longer be interested in them. Because of this, we brought the eggs inside. I am not sure what kind of bird they are from. Possibly a pigeon or a bluejay. How do I go about trying to hatch them and how long does it take? Thanks!

I found a small white egg in my friends yard and i was wondering how long it takes to hatch an egg and if i'm doing the right thing for it.

-I have it under a desk light.

-I have dark colors under it and when i have to turn it off, i seal the basket with a dark colored pair of boxers with elastic at the waist.

-there is cotton under the egg also

I found a little white egg sitting on a chair on my porch in my backyard. and i want to know what kinda egg could it possibly be? i took a box that i got some clothes from and put a towel in it then a heating pad at the bottom on low temp. and umm i wanna know if that will be enough warmth? and i hope its a bird egg and not like a idk. but im sure its a bird all i have is freakin trees in my backyard. I beleive in magic and I asked the tree for a gift and there it was a little white egg and there was no nest above it so I took I home and I have been keeping my eye on it I put it in a little coffe cup and put it by the heater It si warm but is it alive?

i have a robbin in a spicky tree out front she layed 3 eggs so far they are blue and my sister brittany touched it and the mother bird still goes in it i thought she would know that someone touched and think there is somthing trying to steal the three eggs and i never see the father bird there i think he is gone and so the mom has to take care of the egg or meby i am seeing the dad when i think it is the mom.I just want to know all this stuff becuase i dont want any thing to happen to the eggs and i am thinking that if somthing happens to the mom or the dad i will take care of the egg.

Finding a birds nest is very excutung however can be challenging bird eggs should be kept at 100 degrees and rotated sevceral times a day if you want to knoe ehrn tio move s nest I would suggest about a week after the birds are gone, U might go out side and think they are gone but they might just b in flying lessons those who want to raise an egg good luck u will need to be with it 16 hrs a day seven days a week after they are born they must still remain in the incubation system that was being used. GOOD LUCK

my kids found a nest on the ground today after a storm a few days ago. there were 3 broken eggs and underneath the nest was an intact egg. it is blue with brown speckles on it. does anyone know what kind of bird this could be? We live in South Jersey. the egg was cold so i put it in my lizards cage (closed off from the lizard) under the heat lamp. i was wondering what are the odds it is still alive? and if it is at what temp. should it stay at? and how long would it normally take an egg to hatch? what would i feed the thing? any help would be appreciated

we found a light blue egg in a nest on the ground. We've been watching it latly and there's no bird coming back. We but it in a box with cloth on the bottom and lint on the top. Then we put the little blue egg on the lint then we put it under a lamp. It is warm, but we don't know and we want to know when it will hatch. Will you please send us an answer soon so we know how long too wait!
