My boyfriend and I are looking into buying a baby crow or raven. I'm the daughter of a vet and have hand reared many wild and "domesticated" birds. Unfortunately I haven't been given a crow orphan in years and I would like to adopt one. It would be given excellent care. We're willing to consider any price.

please email me at jakkxnotorious@aol.com

If you're looking for Ravens and Crows contact Brian Blazers CORVID RANCH. Birds will cost between $900-$2, 000. Corvids are NOT like any other pet. They are smart and can be destructive.

Huginn, my African Hybrid Raven came from the Corvid Ranch. I know from experience. They can be awesome, but also VERY TRYING AND CHALLENGING when they are in their mischievous/destructive moods. THINK VERY WELL ABOUT THIS. Ravens can live up to 50-60 years. Huginn is VERY BONDED TO ME. SO THINK VERY HARD BEFORE YOU LEAP HERE. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. I recommend the crows group on yahoo, and a book by Bernd Heinrich called "Mind of the Raven". If you have any questions feel free to email me. Emperorvoid@yahoo.com

I have had a lovely crow for only the past few months. He lives on a perch in my main room and is one of the family. He enjoys my kids as much as as they do him. He sits on shoulders, plays games and likes to search the kitchen floor for the fallen scraps of messy kids. I am in Southeast England and may be relocating to Australia in the near future, where the law prohibits his coming with me. emperorvoid (comment #31) is right - my crow is very bonded to me already and I am feeling very worried about how separation may affect him, (and perhaps I am suffering too!). I invite reply from interested and suitably qualified carers with a humble and relaxed attitude towards this rewarding experience.

Regards,

Zeezee

I am mature 57 with acres of land and patience.

My father had a pet crow when I was growing up.

I am interested in a crow, pied or otherwise - or raven.

One man, one bird. No Harry Potter fantasies.

I have my crow trap set and expect to have some crows soon. I have a call and not able to call yet. The neighbor is building a shed and making too much noise. The crow have been checking out my trap and I have it will stocked so any day now. My trap is set in the city but I will move it out to the farm if I don't get a hit soon from the city birds. How much would you pay for a crow? I have traped lots of crows just to let them go.
