Its 360 degrees spinning head, glow in the dark eyes and loud "hoot" cause birds and squirrels to flee. Uses 2 AA batteries, not included. See order form for batteries. Plastic owl is 12"H. I definatly need myself one of those. Comment #2 KateyBate (66.227.233.47) - We used one of these at the place I use to live where we had a bad problem with squirrels and birds eating our cherries off the tree and ruining our raspberry patches. They really work, and they tend to scare off snakes as well. Oppossums don't care for them much either. Comment #3 MissyG (64.136.27.228) - I can definately see them scaring off birds, squirrels, opossums, etc. But not thieves! Comment #4 Jeanette from AZ - That's pretty cool and what a great idea. Our neighbors have a terrible problem with pigeons on the upper level of their two story home. They've had all kinds of people out to try and ward them away. I'll let them know about this. Thanks!! Comment #5 david (216.208.67.139) - Hi I need a owl like the one you have on yor web site Comment #6 Neat (74.185.107.16) - I'm looking for something like this. Starlings are going to ruin my new green tin roof. But what the heck can I mount it on since I would have to take it down to change batteries? I'm "older" & can't go up a high ladder. Any ideas? Thanks! Comment #7 Pam Posner (174.49.37.224) - I have a very large owl (approx. 2 1/2 ft tall)that lives in the mature trees on our yard. I have three very small babies (dogs) that I am worried about. The back courtyard is fenced for our dogs to do their business and this morning the large owl was standing in the courtyard. What can I use to keep the owl away? I am afraid he thinks my dogs are prey. Comment #8 brian quinn (66.31.191.136) - I park my car in my driveway at the beach. Seagulls and small birds either fly over or perch on utility wires above my car and crap on it all day long. Will your motion sensor owl work? How do i attached to telephone pole? • Page 1 (Original Post) •
