I was wanting to know how long can a egg be without his mom. Because it was snowing and we put the nest in a bird house so they can be warm, and when the mother came back she didn't want to go in the bird house. Its a big bird house and she can see her nest.Do you think she will go back to her nest? WHAT DO I DO!!!!!!!!

did you touch the eggs?if you did the mother can smell your sent and she will think you did something to her eggs so she will not want them any more.she will abandon them you could help them live by putting a cloth lously around them with a lamp by them . if yuo did not touch them the mother should come back in a few days.ihope this helps!

me and my sister and our boyfreinds Jack and Michael were on the swing and we saw a little white egg w/ brown specks!!! were sooooooooooo excited!and now were taking care of it!!! it is cracking open!Eggy is gona hatch soon!!!!!!!!!!I HOPE!!lol By!!

i was cuttin the hegde today and came across a birds nest with four eggs in, i think i have cut the hegde to short so dont think the mother wont come back, is there anything i can do to help them or if the mother doesn't come back can i make them hatch myself?please reply asap.thanks

My friend and i found a mom bird and 5 eggs. We captured the mom and found an old nest and put her eggs in it. We touched the eggs to put them in. We want to know how to take care of the eggs since the mom doesnt seem to have any interest in them. What do we do???

i found a torn apart nest and the eggs were on the ground a cat birds eggs its a myth about if you touch the eggs the mother wont want them birds have a very bad sense of smell

First of all DO NOT capture the mom bird thats practicly just killing the babies she will do perfectly fine with out you

to sandra if you cant find the mom thats just because shes out finding food dont interfear with the eggs
